The Cursor Archive (2017);

The cursor archive is 60,000 collectively-sourced mouse cursors from Geocities-era internet.

With content ranging from sparkle text to Pokemon to penises to political statements, these 32-pixel wide cursors function as documents of both their time and their makers. Web 2.0 standards do not support animated cursors - so many in the collection are now fossils.

Download a PDF of every cursor in a book format.

View a screensaver of these cursors, being sorted automatically by machine-vision as best it can.

Download a collection of new cursors, generated by neural net (caution: large file).
